Project Description

These chairs are made in the 17th century French Os de Mouton (“bones of lamb”) style . This refers to the leg-like shape repeated on many elements of the chairs. They are made of sculpted pieces of hard maple and joined with mortice and tenon joints. They are ebonized with aniline dyes and then clear coated before the upholstery is fitted. They are designed for a conservatory with a birds-eye tea table between them. (Approximately $10,000)
